I've seen my state decline over the last 2 decades due to Republican policies that reward their rich donors with tax breaks while everyday Missourians see their services reduced or eliminated.
My priorities:
- Quality Public Education
- Affordable Healthcare for All
- Support Organized Labor
- Voting Rights
- Non-Politicization of Science
- Public Safety Measures to Reduce Gun Violence
I'm a lifelong Missourian and a 40 year resident of St Charles County. My wife and I were married 48 years ago in Ferguson Missouri and we have been blessed with two amazing children and 3 grandchildren who can do no wrong. I'm a chemist and a retired aerospace engineer who wants to make our state a better place for everyone, regardless of their circumstance

Join David Veneziano and me for Free Ice Cream on Wednesday August 12th at 5:30 pm at Westhoff Park in O'fallon.
Come hear David's vision for St Charles County and what I plan to work on for O'fallon once I'm elected.
Hope to see you!
Missouri Republican legislators love to spend their time creating fake culture war issues and finding new ways to support their wealthy donors while refusing to help the working people who make our society function.
For years, Republicans have been punching down on our transgender and non-binary friends & neighbors both locally and nationally. There were 53 anti-trans bills in Missouri alone in 2026. These are people in your community whose basic humanity is being denied because Republicans want to score cheap political points with their rabid base. They don't stop for one second to consider how many lives are forever altered because of their greed and intolerance for those who are not like them.
Attacks on DEI at the federal and state levels are another side of that same coin. They only serve to divide us and further the exploitation of minorities while the wealthy good old boy network further increases its power. White supremacy and religious nationalism are the outcomes when a class of people has been in power so long that they begin to believe that they somehow deserve their privilege.
The recent capital gains tax cut has put a huge hole in Missouri's budget while only benefiting the wealthiest Missourians. If Amendment 5 passes in August, it will pave the way for a massive sales tax increase for you and me resulting in an estimated total tax increase of more than $550 per year. Their refusal to fully fund public schools along with continually siphoning off money to help private and religious schools are part of a long range plan to destroy public education.
And it's all in service to their wealthy donors
We Democrats are a bit of a motley crew. You won't find nearly the uniformity of thought as the opposing party, nor will you find us marching in lockstep behind any authoritarian leader at any level.
Democrats want to make the world a better place for all people and we want to accomplish this through sensible policies in which everyone shares the tax burden according to their ability to pay. We believe that Income Inequality must be reduced and that increasing Collective Bargaining will lead to higher living standards for all Missourians.
Democrats believe the government exists to protect, not exploit our environment. Democrats believe in the Common Good, we believe that investment in public resources such as schools, libraries, transportation, safety, utilities, and people will lift all Missourians up. Democrats believe in science and fact-based decision making.
Democrats believe that the government does not belong in the bedroom nor the doctor's office. We believe in the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms, but also believe in common sense gun regulations like Red Flag Laws.
Democrats believe that every citizen has the right to cast a ballot in every election and that the right of citizens to create legislation through the citizens' initiative process should not be restricted.
